Çelik, Spokesman of AKP, ‘’Turkey has no immigration crisis.’’

According to Hürriyet News, Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) spokesman Ömer Çelik, who made a statement in subsequence of significant decision and executive body assembly, has indicated that the immigration issue is to be managed while saying that ‘’Turkey has no immigration crisis’’.

While adverting "racialism" imputation is a direful inappropriateness, Çelik has expressed that several executions concerning the problematic areas are indispensable for the comfort of Syrian refugees as well as no occurrence of social restlessness.

A Syrian refugee who got deported has been killed

According to the INDEPENDENT Turkish, 21-aged Hişam el Muhammed, one of the refugees repatriated to Idlib, got killed by the shot fire in the frontier while attempting illegally to reach his family in Turkey. There exists no preciseness on the identity of the person commercing fire.

No road-use permit document to Istanbul is also not given

Sabah News has interviewed the Governor of Istanbul, Ali Yerlikaya. During the conversation session, Yerlikaya has stated that ‘’Istanbul has been closed to the temporary protection registry by the Ministry of Interior. Additionally, Istanbul is unavailable to the transfer demands of the Syrian guests registered in other provinces. There is no granting of road-use permit document to the Istanbul in exemption of crucial pressing grounds.’’

In the same news article, Governor Yerlikaya is putting forward that there exist approximately 3.634.000 on a nationwide scale and 547.716 registered Syrian guests in Istanbul regarding the scope of temporary protection. He had illustrated that in the extent of irregular migration, the transfers of 12.911 irregular migrants to the repatriation centers validated by the ministry had been executed between July 12th and 01 August. Undocumented 2.707 Syrians have also been dispatched to the temporary refugee centers deemed suitable by the ministry.

Integration guideline is being prepared for the foreigners

According to Türkiye Newspaper, there has been a preparation of ‘’the guideline for living in Turkey’’ for the currently residing foreigners who came to Turkey by the Directorate General of Migration Management. While the codified and customary rules that the foreigners living in Turkey, including Syrians, are to abide by will be elucidated in the guideline, there will also be some included sections concerning that how the foreigners can carry out their registration process, how they can benefit from the accommodation, education and health services, and which institutions they should apply in the emerged cases of difficulties.

Syrians TV is established in Turkey

According to Hürriyet News, there has been established an Istanbul-based channel called ‘’Syrians TV’’ by the Syrian journalists and broadcasters in Turkey. This channel, where 200 people are recruited, broadcasts content that is oriented towards the Syrians in Turkey, Syria, Middle East, the Balkans, and Europe. While the Turkish staff is counted as fifteen, most of the employees compose Syrians and Iraqi, Lebanese, and Jordanian journalists and broadcasters who are also involved amongst the reporters. Qatar-centered media group ‘’Fadaat’’ provides finance to the channel, besides owning one of the prominent Arabic newspapers published in Londra, ‘’El Arabi El Cedid’’.

122 irregular migrants are saved on the coasts of Libya

According to IHA, Libya Navy has announced that 122 irregular migrants have been rescued on the Libyan coasts in the sum of the last three days. These people, being consisted of Arabs and immigrants coming across Africa and Asia continents, have been taken to the acceptance center in the city, subsequently being provided with humanitarian and medical aid.

The second security package relating the migration in Italy got passed as law

According to CNN Turk, the "second security’’ package, which is formed by the coalition government and consisting of countermeasures aimed at "the fight against the irregular migration and especially the NGOs rescuing the irregular migrants from the seas’’, got passed as law. The regulation, which envisages imposing a penalty to the captain of the ship varying from a minimum of 150.000 to the one million euro in the case that the vessel subjected to the entry ban to the Italian territorial waters infringes upon this prohibition, grants the right to the Italian government to confiscate the ship involving into illegitimacy. Furthermore, the new enaction is setting forth detention to the ship captains resisting or opposing the Italian security forces.

‘’Two Weeks of Deported Ones’’ Report

According to EURONEWS Turkish, the We Want to Live Together Initiative has publicly released a report named ‘’Two Weeks of Deported Ones’’, which is prepared concerning the deportations of undocumented Syrian refugees. According to the report, there has been engendered numerous violations of rights, which were also resulted in deaths during the deportation process. As for Sputnik, Human Rights Association Branch Chairperson Gülseren Yoleri has represented a pertinent roadmap to the same report. Several demands of the roadmap have been shown below: 

‘’The immigrants-centered applications of law-enforcement officers, such as house raids, identity check, forcible signature on 'Voluntary Repatriation Document', and maltreatments should be terminated. There should be a discontinuation of every denunciatory, labeling, and outcasting discourse and enforcements that are criminalizing the migrants. It should be ensured that the legal re-entry process of the deported people to Turkey in a precipitated fashion.

CHP's Migrant Workers Report…

According to the "Migrant Workers Report’’ prepared by the Republican People Party’s (CHP) Vice Chairman Veli Ağbaba, approximately one million Syrian migrants in Turkey are employed illicitly and with low wages. Ergin Yıldızoğlu, in his column partaken in the Cumhuriyet News, has penned an article titled ‘’New fascism, racism, Syrians’’. While Yıldızoğlu is indicating war preys related to Syria cannot be accused, he places a commentary on his article that "Let’s behave in the similar way how a calamity treats to the traumatized victims. Otherwise, let’s step aside with a quietude, let’s not fuel water to the totalitarian windmills of "new fascism’’, which mounts casualties to casualties by setting from deporting Syrians and acquiring a "consent’’ by imitating a problem-solving mentality.’’
