The conference on “Social Harmonization of Foreigners through Employment”, is jointly organised by the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, and the Research Centre on Asylum and Migration (IGAM), which is held in partnership with Qudra Programme and supported by Durable Solutions Platform.
This two-day conference will focus on the issue of the legal right to employment for persons under temporary protection, international protection applicants, and foreigners with resident permits. It will highlight the importance of legal employment within the process of harmonization, new job opportunities and the challenges to this in practice, and suggestions for solutions to these problems.
